Now I know not to get over excited here. I know the devil is in the detail and statementing is a minefield of bureaucracy, negotiation, blood, sweat and tears, but Alice was approved for her statement this week.
We’ve come a long way in a short time. Three months ago she was refused her assessment and now she has been approved for her full statement.
I will reserve full judgement until we see what is produced in the first draft, but for now at least, we are delighted.
I remember that feeling – it’s a great one!
Congratulations, have a lovely week end.
Ellen
What lovely news to hear. I live in Tasmania, and my grandson was (15 months) has auditory neuropathy. Learning to speak is of course, a huge challenge, and schooling will be another. Good luck to you all! Liz
